Pentaquarks: Elusive particles residing at the fringes of the Standard Model, pentaquarks are exotic hadrons composed of five quarks – a configuration challenging conventional understanding of matter. Unlike ordinary baryons (three quarks) and mesons (quark-antiquark pairs), their existence suggests a more complex architecture of the strong force.
